Cookie policy

Last updated: 5 October 2026.

This website, https://orcelis.com, uses cookies and similar technologies. This page explains which ones, what they are for, and how to change your choice at any time.

1. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file that this site asks your browser to store on your device. On a later visit, the stored information can be sent back to our server. We also use the term loosely here for similar technologies, such as the storage your browser provides to a web page.

2. Cookies we use

Functional cookies — no consent needed

These make the site work and remember the choice you made about cookies. We are allowed to set them without asking, because without them the site cannot do what you asked it to do.

  • cmplz_functional, cmplz_statistics, cmplz_preferences, cmplz_marketing — store your cookie preferences so we do not ask again. Expire after 365 days. Set by our consent manager, Complianz.
  • wordpress_test_cookie — checks whether your browser accepts cookies. Session only.
  • wpEmojiSettingsSupports — records what your browser can display. Session only.
  • wordpress_logged_in_*, wp-settings-* — only if you have an account on this site and log in: they keep you logged in and remember your settings.

Statistics cookies — only with your consent

These tell us how the site is used, so we can improve it. They are not set unless you agree to them in the cookie banner. If you consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) for this, which sets cookies named _ga and _ga_*. If you decline, no analytics script is loaded at all: it is blocked, not merely ignored.

Advertising cookies

We do not use them. This site runs no advertising and no third-party tracking for marketing purposes.

3. Your choice

The first time you visit, we ask what you accept. Accepting and declining carry the same weight: declining is one click, exactly like accepting. You can change your mind whenever you like:

You can also delete cookies in your browser settings, or set your browser to refuse them. If you do, some parts of the site may behave differently — but nothing essential will stop working.

4. Your data and your rights

Who is responsible for this site, what we do with personal data, how long we keep it and how to exercise your rights are all set out in the Privacy policy. For anything about cookies or data, write to info@orcelis.com.

5. Language of this policy

This is an English translation provided for convenience. The Spanish version is the original and prevails in the event of any discrepancy.
