Orcelis Fitocontrol already has the necessary data to the blueberry.

EEUU is the biggest blueberry producer (90% of the world production). Other producers in the Northern Hemisphere are Canada , Germany , Poland, France, the Netherlands , Italy and the United Kingdom.

In the late 80 they appear in Portugal and Spain the first professional plantations , excelling in the latter country the provinces of Huelva and Asturias.

In the Southern Hemisphere , cultivated blueberries were introduced in the early 80s in Chile, which is the largest producer in this hemisphere , with 65% of the planted area and 90 % of production . Next in importance , New Zealand , Australia , South Africa and more recently, Argentina and Uruguay .
