If you already use Orcelis, this guide gets you oriented in the new version: where everything is now, and what you can do that you could not before. Your price and terms stay the same, and we will contact you personally to help you through the change.
1. What you will notice most: the fertigation calculation
The calculation now has a screen of its own and lets you select crops from several farms at once. Previously you worked on one farm at a time.
2. Things that did not exist before
- Farmer’s app — a dedicated, synchronised app: the farmer sees their tasks and sends photos and notes from the plot.
- Field messages — a conversation between advisor and farmer, with photos pinned on the map.
- Hoy (“today”) — a home screen showing what is happening across all your farms.
- Print centre — a date range and crops from several farms in a single output, with your own print templates and several crops per page.
- Issues — logging and follow-up of what happens in the field.
- Archive / crop bin — set crops aside without losing them, and bring them back.
3. Things that have moved
- NDVI, weather and water footprint now live inside each crop.
- The product register and pests are inside Fitosanitarios, rather than separate screens.
- Irrigation heads are inside the farm.
- Explotaciones (farms) now includes a map with the plots drawn on it.
Important: nothing has gone away. Irrigation heads, the product register, pests, advisors, manufacturers, harvests and logbooks all still exist — inside other screens.
4. Screen finder: where the old things are now
Screen names are shown in Spanish, which is the language of the application, so that you find them exactly as they appear.
